How-To @ The City Library: Garden with Utah Native Plants
If you’re interested in using Utah native plants to enhance your landscape, celebrate Utah Native Plant Month at this free workshop, where
you'll learn about the beautiful native plants of Utah and how to use waterwise plants in your home and garden. A representative of the
Intermountain Native Plant Growers Association will present an informative program on Utah's Choice plants, plant selection, water
requirements, and native plant gardens. The class is held at the Main Library at 7:00 p.m.

Science Movie Night: Tarantula (1955)
Is it REAL Science or REEL Science? Join The City Library and the Utah Museum of Natural History (UMNH) for free movie
screenings followed by lively discussion with science experts. A scientist creates an experimental radiation-treated nutritional supplement
that transforms the title creature into a rampaging monster. The hungry arachnid graduates from rabbits to cattle to people as it grows and
creeps across the barren countryside in search of food. Join UMNH Entomologist Christy Bills for a discussion of arachnids. Main

Rip Your Strip with Utah Rivers Council
