| About.com offers many unit studies for free. They're categorized by alphebetical order or grade level. Easy Fun School's units are alphabetized, but ages are not given. EdHelper has lots of units, but with a fee. You have a choice of a$20 membership or a $40 membership. Free Unit Studies is a collection of links from a homeschooler. Free Unit Studies is another collection of free ones from the web, there are over three hundred to choose from. Home School Learning Network offers a few units for free, and if you're interested you can join their network and gain full access to their resources. Homeschool Helper offers several free units. Most are not age specific. The Homeschool Mom links to many unit studies, listed alphebetically and noted for age group. The Learning Page has great units - there are printable worksheets included in the lessons. This website has lessons for kindergarteners through second grade. You have to sign up, but it's free and easy. Lesson Tutor has several free unit studies, k-12. Don't forget National Geographic, the BBC, Discovery, the History channel, the Science channel, and your favorite museums for lesson and unit study ideas! |
