  • Art Supplies:
Discount School Supply - A place that has a wide variety
of supplies, and at a great price!  Oil   pastels, tangrams,
children's furniture, nice construction papers, craft supplies,
refillable markers, math manupulatives, water colors, dress-up
costumes, and much more!

  • Books:
Barnes and Noble provides its home educating customers
with an Educator's Discount - with their free card you get
20% off all book purchases, excluding text books.  A must
have!  Just take in your exemption certificate from the school
district,  your SLHE card, or a book with lesson plans to
receive the educator's discount card.

Sam Weller's Bookstore downtown has a wonderful
supply of new and used books!  

  • History Aids:
Learning Through History is a great resource for books,
magazines, timelines, atlases and maps for exploring history.

History Through the Ages historical timeline figures are
black and white figures that can be cut out and painted, and
placed on a timeline.

  • Math Supplies:
If you are looking for math worksheets, please check out our
local homeschooling family's website - The Math
Worksheet Site.   They are highly recommended, and a one-
month subscription is only $2.50, so you can't go wrong.

Locally you'll find that Utah Idaho Supply and
Lakeshore Learning (also listed in Buying Supplies
Locally) both carry different kinds of math manipulatives, flash
cards, cuisenaire rods,and many other math aids.

Discount School Supply - A place that has a wide variety

'organization of dedicated music teachers and families devoted

  • Science Tools:
Home Science Tools (aka Home Training Tools) is a
fabulous website full of science tools.  Microscopes, slides,
owl pellets, lab coats, geodes, chemicals, plant presses for
nature hikes, books, and so much more!  

  • Toys and Games
The Red Balloon Toy Store carries plenty of great
things for developing imaginations - lots of educational games,
and many toys - including magnets, animals, science kits, and
wooden treasures.
