Circus Fly and “Buggsie” a live white bunny!  When a silkworm and a spider have a contest to see who
spins the strongest thread, they’ll be surprised to find out who wins. This is for ages 6 and up, 7pm at
West Valley Library

Amazing Me!
A 30 minute program for children 3-7.  A hands-on class about health, safety, and self-esteem. Sign up at
the information desk of Discovery Gateway. Takes place in the Curiosity Shop.  http://www.

Dance, Dance Revolution
Those 8-12 are invited to the Bingham Creek Library to play DDR.

Scales and Tales
At West Jordan Library families can come to see and hear about his creeping, crawling, slithering critters.
Kids will have a chance to interact with scorpions, tarantulas, snakes, lizards and turtles. (Time permitting,
they can have their pictures taken with the animals too.)

Haworth is a board member and passionate supporter of The Leonardo at Library Square, an
organization devoted to the celebration and exploration of science, art, and culture. During her residency,
Haworth will conduct three workshops on science drawing for youth ages 9 to 14. Workshops take place
in the Special Collections Room on Level 4 of the Main Library; materials will be provided.Seating is
limited and registration is required by calling Level 4 at 322-8164.  Classes will be held on the 17th, 19th,
